How to rock the Tomboy Trend

Natürlich kommt es immer zunächst auf deinen persönlichen Stil an und darauf womit du dich am wohlsten fühlst. Um maskuline Schnitte selbstbewusst rüberzubringen musst du es FÜHLEN. Nimm dein liebstes Outfit als Grundlage und ersetze ein Teil durch ein maskulines Teil. Ersetze zum Beispiel deine figurbetonte Bluse durch ein weites Hemd, deine Skinny Jeans durch Boyfriend Jeans oder deine High Heels durch Brogues.

Keep it simple

Halte es schlicht und einfach, mixe nicht zu viele Farben, Muster oder Stoffe. Wenn du dich für einen farbigen Anzug entscheidest, sollte der Rest des Outfits unauffällig sein. Der Anzug ist bereits ein Statement und du willst davon nicht mit großen Ohrringen ablenken.

Das perfekte Accessoire um dem Look noch mehr Coolness zu verleihen sind Uhren mit einem großen Ziffernblatt, die aussehen als hättest du sie direkt aus dem Schrank deines Freundes geklaut. Hier braucht es keine extra Details oder Strass, denn der Stil spricht für sich selbst.  Ich trage am liebsten meine goldene Chrono, die außerdem noch in vielen anderen Styles und Farben daher kommt. Auch die  rose goldene Chrono ist wunderschön (vor allem kombiniert mit silber Schmuck!) aber noch besser gefällt mir fast die klassische Chrono mit croco leather strap.

Abwechslung

Für mich ist ein Look dann besonders stimmig, wenn sich die Schnitte und Styles abwechseln. Zu Skinny Jeans kombiniere ich am liebsten ein weites Oberteil. Zu Boyfriend Jeans müssen es dafür High Heels sein. Das beste am Mix von maskulinen und femininen Teilen ist doch, dass man damit beides haben kann: Die funktionale Ästhetik und die coole Ausstrahlung eines Mannes aber vor allem die Eleganz und Klasse einer Frau.

Attitude

Of course it all depends on your style and how you feel the most comfortable. To rock your tomboy styled outfit you have to FEEL it. Take your favorite outfit and replace one piece with a masculine one. Replace your tailored shirt with an oversized button down, replace your skinny jeans with boyfriend styled ones or your high heels with brogues.

Keep it simple

Don’t go for too many colors, patterns or fabrics. The key is simplicity. Go for a colorful tomboy suit, but keep the rest of your look clean. Your suit is already a statement and you don’t want to ruin that with huge earrings.

The perfect accessory to add a little bit of clean coolness to your outfit is a big-faced watch, that looks like stolen straight out of your boyfriends closet. No need for extra embellishments or bling bling because this style speaks for itself. I am wearing my favorite Chrono with a gold steeled strap that comes in many other styles as well. I also love this rose gold Chrono and of course the classy one with a croco leather strap.

Alternation

To me an outfit looks absolutely coherent when you play your styles alternately. Wearing skinny jeans? Go for an oversized shirt. Rocking boyfriend jeans? Add some killer heels. The best part of mixing masculine and feminine pieces is that you can have both: The functional and versatile asthaetics and cool attitude of a man and the elegance and class of a woman.
